It is March and the time is growing shorter to make those important reservations for the upcoming regional and national meets. The South Central Regional is just a few weeks away and the National Meet is just over four months from now. The National Meet working group reports that as of mid-February, we have nearly 100 registrations and 95% of room nights have been reserved for July. Don’t wait too long if you have not made yours. Thank you to both the Gulf States Chapter and the National Meet working group for these great efforts. If you are interested in hosting a Regional or National Meet, please let us know.
I’m pleased to report that the new website is on schedule and we are beginning testing to ensure the functionality. Thank you all for your patience. I think you will be well pleased with the result. This is my last chance to ask you to review the membership list and make certain it is up to date. The new Roster will be printed within a couple of weeks in order to include it in the April magazine mailing.
The Board of Directors has been working on some By-law changes that will be posted very soon. Please take a moment to look at them.
Now it is time to get out in the shop and give some attention to those wonderful Falcons and Rancheros. Time for local cars and coffees as well as Cruise Nights and Swap Meets. I can hardly wait. Don’t forget to be safe and stay healthy; oh and bring a youngster along for the ride.
