I feel compelled to say something about the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas. I cannot imagine what would cause anyone to take the life of another, let alone a classroom full of innocents. Nineteen youngsters in a place that should be as safe as anyplace they might be. My mother and two sisters were public school teachers. I’ve seen the depth of caring and commitment firsthand. What do we have to do to safeguard the future of our most precious resources, our children, our grandchildren and our educators? Think about it please.

The latest information I have received regarding the new website is that it is scheduled to go live on or about July 1. Included with it will be a large public awareness campaign on the internet. This is a big undertaking and we are excited about the coming launch.

It looks like we are about set for the upcoming National Meet in Kingsport, Tennessee. There is still time to register for the meet and reserve lodging. I hope to see you all there.

The weather seems to be getting better, warmer, dryer. From here on there seems to be an endless string of cruise nights, swap meets, meet and greets, and other opportunities to show our Falcons and Rancheros. Don’t be shy about introducing folks to our club and cars.

Please be careful and safe in your travels and heading to the National. Steve Springer and his crew have put a great program together and you don’t want to miss it. Enjoy your cars and take a youngster along for the ride.

See you in Kingsport.
