    Thanks for the insight. I am hopeful the car will be in good shape and I would make a cash purchase on site. If so I will be joining the forum as a full member.

    It’s in southern Ohio, but I have yet to make the trip down to look at it firsthand and ask those types of questions. Being from Ohio I know rust is a big issue. I am not up on the particulars of the Falcon as far as where to look other than frame rails, rockers, floor and normal spots you’d check on any car. This would be my first classic car, and mechanical issues are more my thing, than body work.
