I’m in need of a 1964-65 Falcon original style console. My interior is red. I have a 1963 red console in the car now but it doesn’t fit well and looks “off”.
Finally found a “reply” button on your post. Could only see the post title before and not the detail, so added a new post about the console I have. I see now that you need a red one—sorry, mine is black.
Very easy to change color to red. I ended up finding a blue one and painting it the correct Rangoon Red and it turned out perfectly. Just disassemble it completely and do the proper prep and no one will know the difference. Just FYI.
