Has anyone out there ever considered manufacturing and selling a close copy of the 1963 grill? It would take skill and a few sales to recoup your money, but I feel sure there is a market, given the prices being offered.
I think this should actually be achievable with 3d printing techniques nowadays. I don’t know if printing in “chromed look” is already possible, but I’m sure somebody more electronically inclined than I can solve that question.
