President's Message August 2008

Please join me in thanking the Founders Chapter, Wheat State Chapter, Mid America Chapter, Sooner State Chapter and Gateway Chapter for hosting the 29th National Convention of the Falcon Club of America in Springfield, Missouri. Thanks also to the membership for supporting the Falcon Club of America by attending this event.

Carolyn and I certainly enjoyed visiting with our many Falcon Friends and meeting new Falcon enthusiasts. Look for the Convention coverage in the December issue of The National Falcon News.

Our National Falcon News has received recognition once again, for the eighth consecutive year, as the recipient of the Golden Quill Award presented by Old Cars Weekly. Thanks to our Editor, Wendy Crosby, for the excellent newsletter. The Keystone Chapter newsletter, The Falcon Key has also received the Golden Quill Award presented by Old Cars Weekly. Congratulations to the Keystone Chapter.

Don't forget to make plans to attend one or all of the remaining Regional Meets scheduled later this year. There will be meets in Oregon, Massachusetts and Michigan in August and in North Carolina in September. Information about these events can be found in this issue of The National Falcon News. Please show your support by attending these events.

Mark your calendar for July 16-18, 2009 to join us in Dover, Delaware for the 30th Annual National Convention of the Falcon Club of America.
